History

1986- Kimetsan Group, is founded to operate Chemical, Mining and Metallurgy sectors.
1987- Kimetsan Group began production of Photographic Chemicals and Solutions.
1987- Kimetsan Group began production of Synergistic Antifreeze Additives.
1988- Research of Nanotechnological products began. First production trials were started.
1988- World's First Production of Nanotechnological Water Borne Industrial Paints and Aerospace Coatings.
1991- Kimetsan Production and Research & Development Center started to operate in 9500 m²area in Sincan Industrial Zone.
1992- Production of Vapour Phase Corrosion Inhibitors (VCIs) began.
1992- Production of Labarotory and R&D Chemicals began.
1994- Kimetsan Group began production of Nanotechnological Water Borne Rocket / Missilies Paints.
1994- World's first application of Water Borne Paints on a Military Jet Fighter.
1995- Kimetsan Group began production of Nanotechnological Water Borne Luminescent and Thermochromic Paints.
1996- World's first application of Water Borne Paints on a Military Cargo Aircraft.
1996- Responsible Care Commitment signed.

1998- Kimetsan Group began production of Water Borne Paint Removers / Strippers.
2000- TSE ISO EN 9001 Quality Management System Certificate granted.
2001- Kimetsan Group began production of Iodine derivates.
2003- Kimetsan Group qualified for JSF (Joint Strike Fighter) F-35 project.
2004- Kimetsan Group qualified for NASA AP2/C3P project.
2006- OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certificate granted.
2007- Kimetsan Group began production of Open Flame Resistant, Expandable Nanotechnological Water Borne Paints.
2007-Kimetsan Group, signed MASKE 2 project Undersecreteriat for Defence Industries.
2008-Kimetsan Group authorized to produce Camouflage Paints by Turkish Ministry of Defence.
2008-NATO Facility Security Clearance Certificate granted.
2008-Ministry of National Defence Facility Security Clearance Certificate granted.
2010-Kimetsan Group produced World’s one of the best heat insulation material with a thermal insulating coefficient of 0.012 W/m.K
2012-ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certificate Granted.
2012-Kimetsan completed qualification of laboratory and field tests of RAM and MASKE 2 project
2013-NATO Facility Security Clearance Certificate renewed.
2013-Ministry of National Defence Facility Security Clearance Certificate renewed.
2013-NATO stock numbers allocated for Defense Industry Water-Borne Performance Coatings.
2015- Production of Water Borne Mirror Paints started.
2015- The production of one of the world's best electrical insulation materials with a breakdown voltage of 12.000 Volts started.
2015- Manual and Automatic X-Ray Film Processing Solutions TSE-K 482 Certificate granted.
2015- Two Component Water Borne Acrylic Modified Polyurethane Based Paints and Varnishes TSE-K 378 Certificate granted.
2016- OHSAS 18001:2014 OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Certificate granted.
2016- Production of Obidoxime Chloride, a chemical weapon antidote, started.
2016- Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, General Directorate of Highways, K-2 Authorization Certificate received.
2017- Kimetsan has been announced by the TR Ministry of Science, Industry and Trade as one of the 5 companies worthy for an award as an R&D and Technology company.
2018- TSE ISO EN 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certificate granted.

2019- Dangerous Goods Activity Certificate (Recipient, Unloader, Sender, Packer, Loader) of TR Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Dangerous Goods and Combined Transport Regulation General Directorate, was received.
2020- Kimetsan Two Component Water Borne Acrylic Modified Polyurethane Based Interior and Exterior Paints G Certificate granted.
